We try to keep as little data as possible for Counting Bot. However, to keep track of statistics within counting channels and servers, we do collect some data and store it.

The data we store in our database:

• Discord Servers

  The data we collect about your discord server is pretty much nothing. We only keep track of some data related to our discord bot linked to your server.

  • Guild ID
  • Guild plan
  • Commander role (role ID)(configurable within the bot. Allows a certain role to execute the administrative commands of the bot.)
  • Bot language
• Text channels

  We collect very limited data of channels. The majority of data we keep is related to the settings of the counting channel.

  • Channel ID
  • Guild ID
  • Current count (Used to keep track of the current count in a counting channel)
  • Last counter user ID (Used for keeping track of last counted message & allowing the alternate setting to work properly)
  • Last message ID (Used for keeping track of the last message. This allows our anti-delete and edit system to work)
  • Pin interval (channel setting)
  • Alternate (channel setting)
  • React (channel setting)
  • Allow text (channel setting)
  • Allow attachments (channel setting)
• Users

  We do not collect any personal data about users. Only their user ID is stored. Other than that its just purely statistical information linked to a counting channel. Information about a user is only stored once they've counted within a counting channel once. So if you haven't counted in a counting channel, we won't have data about you.

• Role rewards

  The following information is stored to save role rewards in our database. Role rewards are a feature which allows giving a role to a user once they've reached a certain amount of counted numbers.

  The following information is stored to save pin numbers in our database. Pin numbers are a feature which allows pinning a certain number in a channel automatically once it's been reached.

  To make subscriptions work, we collect some data from our customers to properly handle it. This information is stored in our database. All payments go through known gateways and we do not handle anything related to this.

When our bot leaves your server. All the data associated to it will be instantly deleted. If you would still like to get personal data removed, you can open a ticket in our discord or contact me at [email protected]. We can remove your ability to interact with the bot (including counting in counting channels) if you wish to refrain from any data being collected on you.
